After 7 months in business, LookLoveWed.co.nz was
getting plenty of visitors and positive feedback. However business
owners Andrea Campbell and Alisha Hermon felt that the site could
be improved.
Statistics showed that visitors were not using all of the many
wedding planning resources and tools on the site, and first time
visitors were confused about what they should do when they first
arrived at the site. In addition they wanted to differentiate
LookLoveWed from new competitors with a stand out design.
Their brief to Phosphor was to create a new home page which
clearly explained how the site works to first time visitors. The
objectives were to increase the conversion rate of visitors joining
the site, increase the use of the wedding tools and resources, and
to differentiate LookLoveWed from competitors. The functionality of
the original Umbraco site would be preserved.
Results
The design is sophisticated and welcoming, setting LookLoveWed
apart from competitors. Statistics show a good increase in numbers
of visitors joining the site and more use of the tools and
resources.
